Left Oak Bay in the morning. Heavy rain. Danny got soaked taking the dogs to shore and lifting the anchor. Had 3 to 4 foot waves changing to 4 to 6 foot waves for a couple of hours. Anchored in Portlock Harbour. Not a good anchorage.

Left Little Current to go on a dinner cruise with Murray and Rolonde Welsh, Debbie and Mike Brady. Went to Louisa Island. Great evening but a very dark ride back with no stars, no moon and overcast.

My parents, Moreen and Burton Phillips, drove us back to our boat in Little Current. We were planning on taking them to Killarney for fish and chips, but the weather was not great. Cold and windy. We then went into Plan B and did an island tour with the truck. Today Danny is cleaning the boat and getting rid of all our spider guests. Planning on heading home next week.

Another big trip. St. Ignace to Mackinaw City. We had a two hour wait as we did not have reservations. Went to the Grand Hotel and had cocktails at the Cupola Bar which is on the very top of the hotel. Great view. The town was very busy and crowded. Beautiful weather but still rough in the marina with all the ferry traffic.

We travelled from Mackinaw City to St. Ignace. The other side of the bridge. Sunny and calm. Very hot!! Fuelled the boat and then did the tourist thing around town.
