Oak Bay to Sturgeon Cove - A beautiful day. Calm and hot. Where are we? On our way to Sturgeon Cove we had to go thru Little Detroit, a narrow passage but deep, you have to call a security to let other boaters know that you are going to be arriving and approx. in how many minutes. Tricky to get into this anchorage but once inside beautiful. Met up with Ghost Owl Debbie and Mike Brady from Little Current and rafted with them. Janet and Brian Nix on Tranquility came in later. Danny and Mike rescued a sail boat on the rocks. Some excitement. Lots of boats in this anchorage as there is a Trailer Sailor Rendezvous. The next day was beautiful. Water temperature is now 72F and even I went swimming.
