88 F hot all this water and no place to swim. The water is very dirty, the colour of coffee with dead Asian carp and garbage floating by and even some logs. Lots of barge traffic on the river. Large units. We passed an authentic raft that is replicating the Lewis and Clark Expedition. A lot of history this section. We are getting a 4 knot current, we are motoring. We anchored along side of the Mississippi as there are few anchorages and even fewer marinas. Not pleasure boater friendly.
