Kenlake State Park Anchorage to Clay Bay Mileage 54 - The temperature went down this evening to 47 F. Morning was sunny but cool. The water has gone down from 81 F to 74 F and is quite muddy due to all the rain and winds. The scenery is much prettier here with bigger trees and bluffs. This is the land of Davey Crockett and Daniel Boone. The fisherman came and asked if we were staying the night as he was stringing his nets across the entrance of the bay and they are only down about 2 1/2 feet. True to his word he was back at 6.30 a.m. to lift the nets so we could leave.
