Great Stirrup Cay to Freeport, Bahamas - This is one place that we were not planning on going but due to weather we ended up here. This was a 70 mile run. We had a good crossing, the weather was sunny and warm with a 2 to 4 foot sea. I tell you if it wasn't for cruise ships there we would not see anything. We stayed at the Sunrise Resort and Marina. It was a very nice place with a pool, bicycles and kayaks that the guest could use. The place was very empty due to lack of tourists. We stayed another day and walked downtown because it was Easter Monday nothing seemed to be open. We went to the International Market and a few of the stores were open. I was able to buy some straw place mats.
