Colonel By Island - Spent one more night at anchor and then got to the Parks Canada dock on the island as the second day was raining in the morning and the kids were driving us crazy. Way too much energy. Managed to go kayaking around the island to search for suntanning turtles, and we seen quite a few of them. In the evening we got covered with small bugs. What a mess! On the island we found a small beach where the kids could swim. It ended up being a good move. To wrap it up in a nut shell, swam, fished, kayaked and went in the dinghy for the two days.
