Evacuation Sign with Water Heights Above Sea Level - I Did Notice Some of the Homes were on Stilts
Waiting for the Bridge into the Downtown Core - It Must be a Pain if You Live Here
Used our GPS to Get to a Grocery Store - Fooled Only Sold Liquor
Cuttyhunk Harbour, Massachusetts to Mystic, Connecticut - We left the harbour around 9.00 a.m. and headed for Block Island. The seas were 3 to 4 foot waves with 1/4 mile visibility. When we got close to Block Island we checked the weather and decided by pass the island due to the next few days weather forecast, our second choice was Mystic, where we waited out a hurricane last fall. On Wednesday it was a beautiful warm day, Danny even got a sun burn. We did some boat chores in the morning and walked to town in the afternoon. Danny finally got into a boating consignment store loaded with used boat equipment from all years. I thought it looked like all junk to me but he insisted there was some good stuff. We met up with Barbara and Jim Benjamin, who also have a Nordic Tug (Golden Lily)and went for a Mystic Pizza.
