Potest Fieri at the Madeline Island Yacht Club

We left Thunder Bay with warm weather and south winds. We rocked and rolled most of the way to Grand Marais as we had a beam sea. Border Patrol boarded to check to see if we called customs. We left for the Apostle Islands the next day. We ran into a storm about 5 miles off Twin Islands at the Apostles. Winds peaked at 63 knots but no concerns. We stopped at Rocky and had lunch and waited for winds to die down. On our way to Stockton we encountered a overturned 16' sail boat. Assisted the Coast Guard in retrieving them. Salvage boat showed up at dark towing capsized sail boat. Danny helped them pump out boat. Winds were too strong and they decided to come back tomorrow and pick it up. Spent a few days on Stockon but moved over to Madeline Island Yacht Club as they were calling for more winds. John Jones with four guys from Regina came in later. We took his boat and went to Maggies in Bayfield for dinner. They left and we continued our trip to Bayfield and then Ashland were we went to the movies. We met up with our friend Todd and Kitti and had dinner with them on Rocky Island before we crossed to Thompson Island just out of Thunder Bay. We had a beautiful evening and met up with the Pattersons' on Still A OK. This is last day of boating for us and we had an enjoyable cruise home. Abby is really happy.
