Batchawana to Sault Ste. Marie - Left in rain and high winds from the south. Whitefish Bay had 4' to 5' waves, with heavy rain and lightning. Cleared up and got warm just before the locks. Canadian lock was closed for repairs so we went through the McArthur Lock on the U.S. side We had about a 30 minute wait but a very pleasant experience. Tied up at the Bondar Marina and the band at the outside patio bar was singing a Gordon Lightfoot song about the Edmund Fitzgerald. We did make it across White Fish Bay.
