Ottawa - I think Ottawa is one of the most beautiful cities, and it should be as it is the capital of Canada. We did do some tourist things but for the most part just walked around. We went to the Byward Market, and is one of Canada's oldest public markets. It actually was designed with wide streets to allow the horse drawn carriages that brought the foodstuffs to the market each day. What foresight! We went to the Parliament Building to watch the laser light show. Which I don't think anyone should miss. Danny went to a boat store to purchase some new fenders for the boat. Roger and Karen went on a double bus tour, we did not go this time as we have been before as our daughter Danielle went to university here, so we have been to many of the museums etc. in the five years she was here. Every morning they had the changing of the guards. I did get to go roller blading down the bike paths on the canal. Our nephews Rye and Alex came for a visit and we took them out for dinner. It was nice to see them.
