Morton Bay to Kingston Mills (Flight Locks 47 to 49) - It took 45 minutes to lift the anchor due to the weeds on the chain. When the weeds were off we met Karen and Roger and travelled a little ahead of them. It was raining off and on for the whole day. This area of the canal is very long and boring, you go through quite a bit of swamp land. Kingston Mills lock is pretty but sits in a hole with lots of green, dirty swamp water. Some kids were practicing rock climbing near the dock. Evan did try to catch fish but had no luck. He did see some turtles and they tried to catch them but were unsuccessful.
